I'm still veering towards it being Macca as big bands like U2 surely would play somewhere like Wembley?

It could be a winter festival type thing with different gigs each night like nipsla said, but the article did say "a music legend", which as the Ed said probably means an oldie and indicates it's one act for the 10 nights...

it's weird how the book ends in like 1980 with him as good as dead, then here he is still playing gigs 28 years later

The Apollo has redeemed itself for me this year, I've seen some fantastic gigs with brilliant sound.
