any good fish n chips in brixton

I though this was worth another bump.

Not located in Brixton, but still local, Kennedys on Leigham Court Road does a great fish & chips, it's not cheap but you get the full on "traditional fish & chip" experience.

The Sturgeon on Brixton Hill near the little Sainsburys.

Good fish and chips.

Brilliant felafal in pitta with salad, chilli sauch and tahini - yum :)

Just around the corner from Ollie's on the northern side of Half Moon Lane is Ken's Fish Bar which is ALWAYS great. Ollie's can be a bit hit and miss and is pricey.

Sturgeon.. I moved to Brixton, got a kebab I had been looking forward to, got the shits.

Went back 6 months later for a kebab, got the shits.

Been here 3 years and get the shits every time I try them...

Dunno what the fish is like mind. :D

Kennedy's is overpriced and the chips aren't that special. It's busy because of it's location and because Streatham is pretty poor generally for fast food.
It's mostly all fried chicken shops.

The best fish and chips I've had by far in the area is from the Florence.
