Managerialism/MacDonaldization, paperwork, "new" initiatives, support, most media and public opinion, hours, contracts, government policies, workload, stress, imposed self loathing etc all suck.
The good bits just about outweigh the bad.

same shortages as in the state sector. so for some subjects lots of jobs out there in the private sector.Monkeygrinder's Organ said:Are there lots of vacancies in private schools they could all go for?

I mean surely if the hours are so bad and there is so much paperwork, then they would have more and more difficulties recruiting, thus forcing them to reduce these issues by recruiting more admin staff!
No?

Fucking hate teaching right now, hate the stress, the workload, the hours, my class, all of it, want to leave. Need to think of something else though. Any ideas?

i'm sure there are other horrid jobs but there are other jobs which are much, much easier, more enjoyable and less soul-destroying.
