Not sure if this counts. It's more slagging off students who are going to go off and get a good job, rather than slagging the 9 to 5. Also: by same group, was hoping "Do nothing" would fit. But have listened and can't detect any definite anti-employment manifesto.

However: "Anything that's rock and roll" by Tom Petty definitely goes.

Rundgren's I Don't Want To Work (I just want to bang on my drum all day) which contains the line, "I get my sticks and go out to the shed and I pound on that drum like it was my boss' head".

MC5's mention of Lee Dorsey made me think of Tennessee Ernie Ford's Sixteen Tons and Merle Travis' Dark as a Dungeon. And anything by Men of the Deeps. Miners not liking their occupation, however resigned to it they may be, could form an entire sub-genre, I think.

Rolling Stones - Hang Fire - although I'm not sure they've ever done a decent day's works so how the fuck they can write an anti work song is beyond me.

Yeah, that's a good one. Was it Bill or Charlie who worked in a graphic design office before he joined the Stones?
