Anti BNP demo and threat of count-demo in Lincoln - Sat 2nd

Given the number of candidates the BNP are standing, I'm thinking that they must have wards which they are prioritising and concentrating their resources on, and others where they are standing without much in the way of an active campaign just to see what kind of vote they can get from their national profile. So I reckon they will most likely be putting a lot into West Thurrock as to them, it must seem winnable with one more push.

Not sure how many activists the BNP will put in on the ground in the ward I'm contesting - get the impression this is a mid-priority for them...

west thurrock, i think, was as much a surprise to the BNP as to antifascists. my understanding is that most of their effort in essex went into epping forest to build their powerbase in Loughton. one factor next may will be the fact there are no elections in london- so you can expect a whole heap of outer east london fash taking daytrips out to essex to canvass and leaflet in the run up to the elections
