Another shooting in Streatham: one dead

Are there 2 crime scenes? BBC reporting High Road closed between Gleneldon Rd and A214 but at 7am this morning it was from Streatham Station to the junction with Streatham Common North on the High Road. Or did they open a small part to keep the station open

Still closed off. I got home early and went via Streatham Common rather than Streatham (I live on the road next to the bus garage) as I suspected it would be...

Heh, we must be very close neighbours :D

And I live near Sainsburys so we must all be pretty close :)

Still closed off...hmmm...gotta think how to get home tonight after cinema...back streets again to the Common I reckon.

Press interest from the nationals and the Standard died incident down as soon as it emerged it didn't take place in the ice rink. Sad innit.

It is the front page of the Standard's West End Final edition - with a large picture of the forensics team picking up Exhibit A - a silver handgun.

Some of the people involved in the shooting are understood to have left the Starlight Room nightclub just before shots were heard at 5.20am

The Starlight Room is in the same building as the Ice Rink

The gap between the Ice Rink and the Swimming Pool was still cordoned off with a copper on guard this morning.

Was disprited by the Standard's boards:
'Dramatic' picture!'

Not 'horrifying', or 'depressing', or 'grim' , but the rather exciting 'dramamtic'.
