Another reason not to vote for Livingslime

It's only a matter of time in your case, to be honest.

I really object to that. I have never voted for or supported an extreme right wing party EVER.

That fact that you are descending to this level of smears and abuse just shows how you Livingstone supporters are losing the argument about who should lead London.

why because I point otu that being a bit of a fool sometimes isn't the same as being a dyed in the wool bigot.

So you think that Johnson's occasional bigoted outbursts are deeply out of character and he's actually free of prejudice and bigotry, he just puts things a bit wrong sometimes?

Hmm. Let's see.

Twat.

I'm not a Livingstone supporter, not by any means. But I know what a disaster Johnson would be and I think your truly craven justifications for turning into a right-wing bigot are fucking disgraceful...

Oh, and you can object all you fucking want. It's clear what you are and it stinks.

I have never said that I have approved of Boris's less than ideal comments in the past but what is more worrying an occasional outburst of antedeluvian attidudes or embracing an extremist bigot who believes that Gays and Jews are subhuman and deserving of punishment.

If you had mixed with the sort of right wing bigots that I've had to in my life you would know that the views I expound are not at all similar.

As I've said (many) times before sometimes you have to vote not for a candidate but for the least worst alternative who has at least a hope of winning.

I am a traditional Labour supporter. The fact that NL and Livingstone are forcing me to vote Tory for the first time in my life is the disgrace round here.

Ah, so you know I haven't? How very Mystic Meg of you.

You may have said it many times, but it's not what you're really doing. You're using your loathing for Ken (much of it based on sheer fantasy) to offer you a smokescreen while you slime your way over to the right wing.

At least be man enough to admit it.

I'm not right wing and I'm getting quite tired of your constant insults and smears.

No ones forcing you to do anything - you may be disillusioned with Nu Labour and dislike Ken (you're hardly alone there) its your arguement that Boris will be better that mystifies me.

I don't think Boris will be better but he is the only candidate who stands a chance of unseating Livingstone and thereby rescuing the city.

lmao!

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's Boris and his rightwing sidekick KBJ to save us all!!

You still haven't explained, in your countelss Livinslime posts, why the city needs saving rather than reforming. Or why Boris will be able to do more than Ken to meet your needs. Any suprise that we're all flabbergasted?

So you're a strike breaking scab, driver of a poncing Land Rover who seeks retributive punishment and wants to vote Tory boy toff Boris in?

What does that make you if not a Tory? Don't fool yourself or have the temerity to tell others that they're not seeing the obvious truth. Your denials are just laughable.

Does it really matter that much who gets to be Mayor?

Do they have much power?

Yes.. They set the price of travel. They set the budget for regeneration. They can block developments, set constraints on social housing. They can raise taxation. The can set limits on pollution and emissions. They are there to act in the interests of Londoners.

I posted this on another thread.

Here is a little sample from Taki, taken from columns written for The Spectator while Johnson was its editor (so, read and approved by Johnson before publication):

Quote:
After Charlene Ellis, 18, and Latisha Shakespeare, 17, were shot dead in Birmingham in 2003, Taki blamed "black thugs, sons of black thugs and grandsons of black thugs," adding for good measure that "West Indians were allowed to immigrate after the war, multiply like flies and then the great state apparatus took over the care of their multiplications'.
Only a nasty cunt would publish that.

And only an equally nasty tosser would embrace a religous leader who didn't just disaprove of gay relationships but wanted people punished for being gay.

Taki is a wanker and a snob always has been. I had the 'pleasure' of sitting in the High Court when he was giving evidence in his defence about some of his writings and he is one of those people who it is easy to take an instant dislike to.

Well, I wouldn't say Livingstone was brilliant, but he did his best to stop privatisation of the tube, and on numerous occasions I've been very grateful for the 24 hour buses that you don't have to buy a ticket on. And he kept fares down for a while. Are you sure he really controls fares? i got the impression he was all infavour of cheap fares, but it's out of his hands, hence the big price rises recently. And Oyster's quite good in a way too, because these days the drivers don't bother to look at your tickets mostly so you can easily get around with an old paper one.

I kind of agree the olympics is an utterly crap idea. But that was probably just livingstone's way of signalling "OK Tony, you've won."

But you described Johnson's bigotry as 'foot in mouth'. This isn't though, is it. This is coolly considered and in print. It's been edited, proofread and typeset.

But this isn't Boris's own writing it is Taki's. Also a lot of time people work for publications which are very much at odds with a persons own point of view. I used to do freelance work for the Daily Mail but it doesn't mean that I have to automatically buy into the daily mail mindset.

Some of the most educated and intellegent journos I met worked for the Sun.

He was the EDITOR. He EMPLOYED Taki. And if you want some of his very own coolly considered racism, just click on 'nasty cunt' in my post.

Pish.

What's it worse to do. To employ and encourage a distasteful long term racist and controversialist. Or to meet a religious leader as one off, theroetically on behalf of a subset of Londoners who support this religious bollocks, as a one off.

Your blinkers really are quite convenient. And your self delusion quite staggering

Perhaps it might be an idea to have buses people actually pay for...?
