Animal Right programme on BBC2 now

I reckon all them people who dont agree with medical research on animals should offer themselves up for testing things which havent been tested before on anything, just to save the *ickle cute aminals* awwww...

wonder what flavour yoghurt she prefers?

mind you we have 6 dogs, 10 rabbits and a hamster (the other hammie died last week)...

sorry to hear about your hammie

I've got a lot of respect for people who care for loads of homelss animals and if my life had been a bit different I could have ended up ding something similar

that woman on ebay who I linked to is a bit aggressive (massive understatement) when it comes to comunicating with people who don't share her views 100% though, as you might imagine from her me page.

oh well, takes all sorts I suppose.

you may actually be surprised to know that some of the more dedicated AR people would refuse such drugs. But like I said in an earlier post its not black and white. People seem to asume that if you are pro AR then you are automatically a vegan who only wears stuff knitted from natural yak yoghurt. Thats simply not true there are many people who believe in animal rights who hold more pragmatic views and eat at mcdonalds every now and then.

by assuming ALL AR types are yoghurt knitting fruitcakes you should also realy be thinking along the lines of anyone who doenst like coronation street should automatically not like any television progs.

No. You are assuming that I myself assume that all ARers are "yoghury knitting fruitcakes". I am asking a simple question. Do the people who are against animal testing for medical research take any precriptions themselves? It is a like being an anti-war protestor but supporting the war on terror.

like I said some do, some dont. Just like some anti war protestors would be full on conscientious objectors and some would only march against certain wars. Therer are also those who turn up and protest against AR\war\whatever who dont really hold any firm views but think its a cool thing to be seen at. I have no doubt that even amonsgt thiose who would say they were hardcore AR activists there are those who would take things that would go against their "principals" if they ever became seriously ill.
