Animal Crossing: Wild World

I haven't had much time to play this, haven't even got a spade yet. Have spent too much time rocking out on Guitar Hero (which incidentally everyone should buy right now!)
 
I've only just started with this too. Not long arrived at my town, Lagosa, and have run a few errands for slave master Nook...trying to get up to the point where it'll let me go online!
 
Cool, I've got trees full of cherries and a palm tree with two coconuts for the first two visitors to Lagosa!:)
 
Can you expalin what this is about I googled animal crossing but most stuff I found was about the game cube?

Is this an emulator for your PC or something else? :confused:

Tis a Nintendo DS game, which you can play with others via wi-fi.

Anyone managed to get any turnips? I keep seeing the price on them going up and down but got no idea how to get hold of em...:confused:

in order to play online and visit other people's towns you need to input their "friend code" into your machine.

I imagine to stop the nasty paedos getting their hands on some poor young thing's apples.

of course everybody just posts their friend code up on the net, so I guess it doesn't really work.

Buy a DS Lite, buy Animal Crossing: Wild World for it. Play it for a few days to get the hang then post up your friends codes and come visit our towns.:cool:

The turnip salesperson - I've never made money on turnips though - Nook always seems to want to buy them for less than I paid - the slave-driving raccoon bastard
 
I'm close to paying off the motgage on my second (or third?) house soon. Wonder what the old slavedriver will give me next? Kid E I'm sure I've got some robo furniture you can have a look at next time you pop over for a visit.

Cool, I’ll start saving! I’ve just got the second floor and should have it paid off in a week or so, got about 400k left to pay. I think, going by the GameCube game, you can get a basement as well…
 
You have to keep checking prices during the week. They can change during the day (though I've never seen them change during the time when I've been logged in). If they get over 140, sell... don't sell at a loss, obviously... if it's getting close to the weekend and you see 120+, sell. Buy as many as possible on Sundays. I didn't get any last weekend, dammit, I couldn't find Joan anywhere. I think Resetti hid her somewhere, the bastard.

Oh, and buy red turnip seeds, plant them then water them every day. Wait a week and you can get 15K for the turnip. If you miss a day of water, though, it shrivels up and you get nothing.

N.B. you can eat the turnips by accident if you're not careful about dragging and dropping them in your inventory, don't do that. I ate ten grand's worth in one go once.

Yeah I remember that growing crap on the cube version, kept forgetting to keep an eye on it. I tend to pick up the DS for a ten minute harvest/fossile hunt each day now so might have to try the turnip route...:o
 
Anybody caught a tarantula yet? I saw one last night, tried to sneak up on it and the bastard turned round and bit me! I awoke outside my house after apparently passing out…never ever seen that before in AC (on the Cube or the DS)!!:eek:

My mate had the same with a Scorpion he found on the beach
 
I see...man I'm raking it in now, almost feeling guilty! Making around 120 000 a week! Will have paid of mortage in about a week and a half too!
 
Got top floor now and am trying to pay off mortgage but it's like real bloody work getting all the fruit and fish and selling them! I'm on my holidays! Around tonight if anyone fancies a game.
