'Angel of the South' sculptures revealed!

I must admit I have never seen the Angel 'in situ' but other people have told me it looks good. I love Gormley's Iron Man in Birmingham.

On TV I thought it wasn't all that but when I saw it from the train I was well impressed.


They should have done a GIANT one of those cow parade cows.
 
They're all crap. The horse is the best, relatively.

I would have suggested a sculpture of a giant cup of tea and a biscuit with a bite taken out of it.

Got to be the White Horse for me. This is a tradional symbol of Kent that goes back to the dark ages (Hengist and Horse are the mythical twins who where supposed to have landed in Kent. They names mean Stallion and Horse).
So it's a bit of fun with some mythology thrown in :).
