Was he not reponsible for housing also in 45.Michael foot wrote some of nye's ideas on housing in the book he wrote about nye

As a Child on ten I knew Nye Bevan, my wife's family knew him well, my wife was born in the free miners hospital in the valleys, Welsh valleys that is , she has spina bifida.

I can just about remember him speaking what I noticed was his voice he had a booming powerful voice.

In was shocked to see in the Welsh Assembly in Cardiff a Picture of Bevan which said greatest Politician, next to a picture of Thatcher the greatest leader, and nobody has destroyed the Thatcher picture.

A booming voice can be very affective ,i noticed that in the court room when i was on jury service
