Android email sent folder

I habitually echo all outgoing mail to myself with BCC, both for verification and to keep threading and chronology all in one place. BCC has to be done manually on my phone, but I've neglected to do so with some important ones over the last few days. They're in the Sent folder on the phone but they're not in the Sent folder on the server for my domain. I don't know why but no amount of messing with sync settings has changed that.

I want to copy them into my Inbox so they properly fit into their threads, but I can't find any way to do it, nor any way to get them off the phone except by forwarding them with todays date, which isn't much use.

I'm baffled, any ideas what I can do please.

Using the stock email programme on a Huawei P20 Lite, not rooted, Android 8.0 fwiw.
