Something for everyone there, with novels, memoires, autobiography, graphic novels/cartoons, activist agitation, theoretical analyses, histories.... Good to see that anarcho-capitalism is largely absent (except for Anarchy, State and Utopia and possibly in Defence of Anarchism), though I am sure that otherwise on the list are flawed by a persistent liberalism.

Taking a broader view ;) than just about item 7, there's some damned good books on that list :cool:

'Persistant liberalism' .... I imagine an Ideological Policeman licking a pencil ... such charges are as much in the eye of the accuser as in the actualite of the thing/person/book accused ...

I speak as someone falsely charged with such 'crimes', on Urban, myself

But let's no go there (for now) cos I have approx 15 minutes left here at most ...

A bookfair for people interested in the history of the working class and the labour movement will be held in ST Nicholas Church in Durham’s market Place, on November 3, from 10am to 5pm. The nearby Market Tavern pub will also sell Jarrow Brewery’s Maggie’s End beer and in the evening, a room will be available for book fair visitors.

Not drank that particular beer, but Jarrow have put out some fine other beers!
