Ambient Picnic 08/07/07

Whoever was in charge of advertising and marketing that event should be shot.

yeah it was a shame the event wasn't a bit busier, the main stage did particularly poorly. The Dance Tent and Itsy Bitsy had enough people but the rest didn't.

The enforced move from Guildford didn't really help for the casual punter. Hopefully it will build up again.

Nice to meet WoW. Saw some good act's in Itsy Bitsy too

Thanks to every one that came and made it a wicked day for ITSy BITSy. Looks as though we may well have lost money on things this time round :(

Turnout was pretty poor wasn't it? :(

Maybe partly the altered location after a year off, but it probably needed some more publicity too ... as TC already erm .... 'commented' ;) :p

Yes, all the reasons you mention. We have a pretty well zero budget for publicity and the guy that has done such a good job previously of getting info into local papers/radio wasn't able to work with us this year. It's a very small team that pull it together and none of the rest of us are particularly good on the PR front.

Hopefully things will be sorted and we'll be back again next year although I suspect it will be a different venue.

Looks like we'll need to do a couple of benefit events

pointlesspicnic next sunday at your local picnic spot, don't forget, or just forget, there's always another the week after
