Well who wears pigtails after 12y/o accept strippers, or in the event you are to strip and are going for the schoolgirl (either goth or innocent) look? Aren't pigtails meant to induce memories of innocence in desired sexual targets whom might dig that naughty sort of thing?

I quite often have loose plaits in the summertime or if I'm riding cos of the riding hat. Like low bunches but very loose kind of a hippy look (also have long layers round my face that won't go back), not too neat. I think if you try to do them too perfectly it can come off a bit "my mum did this before school".

Well i spose both bunches and plaits - I was specifically talking about plaits in OP but it applies to both I think.

And I guess it's not so much about my specific age but maybe I've just past the point where it looks cute and funky and now just looks a little sad - but that's about me not my age.
