yeh, while i don't use it myself, the term's common enough not to merit 8den's intemperate response.

Use of the word "pop" seems to me to be regional. Where I grew up, the most commonly used term was "fizzy drink", but other people are more familiar with "pop", "fizzy pop", "soda" etc.

I thought all brits called it pop.
I always call it pop.
