    Yeah, here we are!

Altona 93 yesterday won the quarterfinal for the Oddset Cup with 1:0 against the zwo divisions lesser side TSV Neuland. Pretty decent but what do you want?

    Let's go for the Cup!

Nice win today. 1-0 at Concordia against a strong opposition. A bit lucky that their goalkeeper decimated his team voluntarily. His red card shortly before halftime was well deserved. Goal of the day by Nick Brisevac with a perfect free kick.

    Weather was excellent as well.

And Altona 93 is the only team in the league, that applies for a fourth division license. That means: three extra play off matches (one at home, one away and one on a neutral ground) after the season for sure!

Defeated 0-2 at Pinneberg yesterday. :/

Couldn't make use of our chances and got punished twice in the final 10 minutes.

And these are the dates for the post-season matches:

Sat May 28, 2016: Hamburg state-level cup final, hopefully with us. It's the first time that all those finals from the local football associations in Germany take place at the same day, and national public broadcaster ARD will cover them live. Of course, they will have to switch between up to seven matches played at the same time, but there will be the possibillitiy to watch every single match online.

Wed June 1, 2016, 19:30 h: First play-off match for promotion against the Schleswig-Holstein champions, which will probably be either SV Eichede or Eutin 08. Match takes place at our home ground Adolf-Jäger-Kampfbahn.

Sat June 4, 2016, 15 h: Second play-off on a neutral ground against the Bremen champions, either Bremer SV or Blumenthaler SV. The location is not disclosed yet, but probably will be somewhere between Bremen and Hamburg.^^

Tue June 7, 2016, 19:30 h: Third play-off against the runner-up of the Lower Saxony Oberliga. (The champion there is automatically promoted.) This will be an away match, most probably against 1.FC Germania Egestorf-Langreder at their ground southwest of Hannover.

We are currently organizing coaches for the away matches against Bremen and Lower Saxony. For the saturday match we already have two coaches nearly sold out and planning a third. For the tuesday match we are currently planning with one coach. People from abroad, who want to attend one of these matches and travel with us, should probably contact all to nah to get you a ticket.

Tomorrow (public holiday in Germany) our semi-final against TSV Buchholz 08 takes place. Kick-off is at 1:30 pm MEST.

It's probably gonna be a close match. Buchholz is standing right above us in the league, with two points ahead. At least we've got the home advantage. Weather forecast is superb (very sunny and up to 20°C), so I definitely expect a four-digit number of people to attend.

Sorry, sankara . The match next week will be played on Sunday. The cup final will be Saturday May, 28th, at 11:30 (your time). The time is dictated by German television.

Today the Norddeutscher Fußballverband (Northern German FA) approved Altona 93's application for a Regionalliga License, with the condition to implement some security-related building measures until the beginning of the upcoming season. Mainly a separated sector and entry for away fans.

Of course, these measures only have to be taken if we pass the play-offs successfully.

Next matches, which are the last of the regular season:

    Wednesday, May 11th, 7pm away at Halstenbek-Rellingen
Sunday, May 15th, 2 pm at home vs. Niendorf
Tuesday, May 17th, 7 pm at home vs. Buchholz (the team we beat in the cup semi-final)
Friday, May 20th, 7 pm away at Curslack-Neuengamme

It's ticketed and might be sold out before match day (otherwise the spare tickets will be available at the turnstiles).

    You can purchase tickets online.

Altona 93 supporters are asked to buy tickets for section D or E - most of us will be in section D, I think.

Regular season is over now. After the worst start I've ever seen with four defeats in a row, the headcoach was replaced with former Altona star player Berkan Algan. Things started to work out and we had a pretty good run for most of the season, with the longest series of 14 matches unbeaten, and not losing a single match against any of the top five teams any more. Of course, after this bad start it wasn't possible to have a say with regard to the title, but we could've had a shot at place three, maybe. After it's been clear though, that we were the only club in the league to apply for promotion, results became pretty pointless. Hence, with all those postponed midweek matches, Berkan chose to give players rest periods and/or try things out, and season ended with some rather mixed results (three losses against mid-table teams in the last five games) on 6th place.

Now our team has one week of regeneration, until the important matches begin. First the Hamburg cup final, with the winner qualifying for next season's DFB-Pokal. Afterwards follow the play-offs against SV Eichede (Schleswig-Holstein champions), Bremer SV (Bremen champions) and Germania Egestorf-Langreder (Lower Saxony runner-ups). The better two teams of this round robin competition get promoted to the (German 4th level) Regionalliga.

The time table from above is still valid: Altona 93

Norderstedt vs. Altona and some other Northern German cup finals are gonna be streamed here on Saturday. Kick-off is at 12:30 pm CEST: Fußball live erleben

And here's an overview where you can find streams for the other fixtures, including a conference covering all of the finals over several hours. Just in case you wanna watch some more football, after Altona has won the cup: ;) Der Finaltag der Amateure in der ARD - Fußball -
