I think it's more the kind of abstract experimental stuff (see also laptop hiphop) - Def Jux, Clouddead, Anticon, all that caper.

If I was going to make a hiphop album this is how it would sound. postrock/industrial music, with a hiphop beat. Completely unlike anything else i've heard.
