alright you fuckers, put this one down!

I tried, believe me, but I can't fault the guy.

Comedy and musical genius.

Bonjour - je m'appelle Doctor Qui.

Mon Grand Emeny - il s'appelle Davros. Il est demi homme..et demi dalek. Incroiable!

Doctor Who in French....veh veh funny. Courtesy of BB

I'll put the fucker down, with a big spade. Saw the "Part Troll" show in London last year, expecting some kind of revelation & was severely disappointed. It was mostly... amusing, in an undergraduate-stoner kind of way. But only amusing. Not laugh-out-loud funny most of the time, and not even close to genius.

The comedy equivalent of comfy shoes, IMHO. And the fucker is on "Never Mind The Buzzcocks", which I hate.

He's a direct descendent of the man who used to be on telly playing the double bass for laughs who looked like Ian Dowie.

Excellent comedian. His musical gags are the best since......

how can you hate never mind the buzzcocks? what's wrong with you?

He's great!!

Nice to see a comedian who has a surreal sense of humour rather than being horrible about people and then laughing at them. :)

Every time I go into Argos I can't help but think of the catalogue as
"the laminated book of dreams....to protect it from the tears of joy"

I do really like him, although often find his shows don't get REALLY funny until the last 1/4. His opening sections are often a bit weak. Probably nerves.

I looooovve Never Mind the Buzzcocks, BB along with Phil Jupitus and Mark Lamar make a hilarious trio :D

BB is very funny IMO, and he's in Spaced

I like Black Books but Dylan Moran and BB are the only funny ones (I love it when Dylan Moran freezes a bottle of rose with a stick in it and then smashes the bottle - tada! Alco ice lolly :D )

As the Buzzcocks question was addressed to me, I'll answer. More smug undergraduate toss, hosted by the slimy misogynist twat most indie music geeks would really like to be, if they didn't more closely resemble the two captains. An appaling wankfest. All this talk of Dylan Moran (a true comedy god) only throws Bill Bailey's inoffensive prattling into even sharper relief. Comedy for people who think Steve Lamacq and badly-rolled joints are a bit subversive.

seeing as there are always naysayers, can someone naysay bill bailey. i've spent a sunday comedown watching BB vids on youtube and can't think of a single bad thing about him. true comedy and musical genius. let's have the naysayers comeout so we can point and laugh.

He was fucking funny back in the day when his sci fi opera was new but he’s a bit old hat now…fair dues though being one of the few people to admit to playing D&D and still having long hair!

At Fopp, I have just purchased Cosmic Jam, the first BB stand up dvd which also comes with Bewilderness dvd for the sum of five pounds:)
