Alphabetizing my record collection

How do people deal with acts featuring numbers at the start? I put these before 'A', and in numerical order, so The 2 Live Crew come first, followed by 2ManyDJs. The problem arises here if you have, say, 10CC (I don't); do they come at the start of the '1's, or after the '9's? Punctuation also causes problems. For example, where would !!! go?

I was going to put them in number order at the front which I believe is technically the correct way but I thought the idea of a number section was a bit messy so put them in the alphabet - 10cc = T Ten CC, 5.30 = F Five Thirty.

In theory it could be, but luckily my number collection only has 3 CDs in (2 Live Crew, 2ManyDJs and 310) so the pre-'A' system works well.

What's everyone's most common letter entry? I think mine's 'S', but a lot of that's due to Squarepusher and the Super Furries. 'D' is high up there, well represented by Daft Punk, The Delgados and Dylan.

Mines probably B since I have shit loads of Bowie, Bauhaus and Butthole Surfers

'B' is up there with me, with plenty of Babybird, Basement Jaxx, Beasties, Beta Band and Blur (in that alphabetically order of course :) ).

Speaking as an anally-retentive twat, I'm quite proud that all 26 letters are represented.

Some letters do have a surprisingly high number of entries, but often that's down to one or two acts. 'E' for example is fairly dominated by Missy Elliott and Brian Eno (now there's a colaboration I'd like to hear).
