there were some truly amazing beards

I'd be amazed if anyone bettered this one over the weekend:

Anyone catch him by the way? Didhe play solo or with a band? Played the Windmill on Thursday with a band...quite amazing and the first time he's done it since Lift To Experience days.

Might be going to see him play later this week... :)

Josh Pearson was very good and an impressive beard, though i'm not sure it was the absolute best though definitely in the running, particularly when considered as a beard-hat combo

the whole thing did remind me of that thread a while back about people who have been in more than 2 bands, some of the people must have been exhausted by the end of the weekend

Fucken hell. Better than that one?
ATP must have looked at the officers mess at Gettysburg.

Ah, Blixa. Living proof of the existence of a Teutonic sense of humour.

FWIW I was the big drunk bald twat right at the front ranting about Alan Vega. And i'm sorry.

I just saw Josh Pearson in Brixton!

I'm fairly sure it was him – or someone who had bought a "josh pearson-style beard-hat disguise kit".

It was very weird. I was standing at the bus stop outside Morley's feeling slightly grumpy about going back to work after such a good weekend of music (and beards), when it was suddenly like ATP had followed me back to brixton.
