Yes of course i know where brixton is, but i dont actually live in london or near it...... I live near gatwick so cant be expected to know everything about brixton, i go up there for gigs, to visit mates, and used to go to dogstar and sometimes aba shanti. I only know it a little bit as i lived in tooting, but that was only for 9 months.

I have to give sympathy to the OP. I love listening to music, I have lots of albums (or mp3's more recently) and go to plenty of gigs. However I don't really care about or follow the people behind the music and bar the really famous I doubt I could name many members of a lot of my favourite bands or even recognise them (I'm crap with faces as well as names).

However given the context of the thread it was a bit tittish to not even google the name before posting that. Even I could see it coming a mile off!
