Results don't mean everything, but I also remember those performances. As I've said on other threads, I've been happier with our performances in this tournament than those in 2010, and Russia have hardly been unlucky to go out either.

On a brighter note, coming home from a night out we ran into some Algerian fans on the tube. They were just standing around, but as the doors closed they burst into Algerian chants Then went quiet again when they got to the next stop and did it again

One of them also proposed to and 'wed' a friend of ours, and somewhere there are photos of my and my friends looking slightly bemused holding an Algerian flag Great fans
