    Anyone else read it? Lol.

Actually better than most management books I've read on the subject... And certainly more 3 dimensional in his treatment of people than I imagined.

Interesting, might take a look. I've read about half of one of his autobiographies and it's interesting seeing the mind of someone so, ahem, 'focused' in action. Trouble was, too much of it was about his spats with former players and managers. I remember him saying he read loads of books on various American leaders. Might be an interesting read, ta.

I havn't but have read that he showed great leadership and managment skills as a young trade union shop steward in the Glasgow shipyards. He led an unofficial walkout over wages. He was a great reader of books on leaders and encouraged his younger players to read such books.
