Sounds nothing like Tarot Sport. But it's Weatherall, so of course it's good.
Spotify Discover alerted me to Phoebe Bridger's debut album - nice, dreamy acoustic stuff, sorta early Sheryl Crow-ish:
Kelela - take me apart
Not really my thing but this is excellent.
It's brilliant. Do get this.
Jostling for album of the year right now. It's been a strong year so far, mind.
Wasn't keen on previous stuff - too cutesy. This one is perfect..
You should check this out if you find the brass/electronica thing enjoyable butchersapron - more low key than Mary casio, but scratches some of the same itch imo
Ta - will be dooing later. Thank you.
OOh flip yeah. This is great.

On-U are issuing a load of unreleased Dub Syndicate dubs, out next month. Sounds real nice.
I'm also enjoying this new album from recently rediscovered/hyped Eno collaborator Laraaji. Lovely stuff.

Yes, This is top notch. Ta.
I heard a track off it on a radio show a few months ago and bought it before the tune had played out... not much going on, but it's just so very satisfying.
Beast of a thing. Love it.
I like the new Breeders track, and I presume there'll be an album to follow.
This deaf kids album is fucken intense. Heavy heavy Latin psych noise shit.
If you like your Weird electronic stuff, the Iglooghost album is fucking wicked.
Neō Wax Bloom by Iglooghost
(its on spotify too).
Because I am a fan of our very own...
This sounds ace from the samples, but it's £61 fucking quid
Norm TALLEY Norm A Lize vinyl at Juno Records.
I'm still tempted. It's 4x12" so £15 each. I've paid more recently for a 12. But still, it seems ridiculous...
Except the new album is hardly dance music at all.
You can't even dance to it. Sounds terrible.
So any music you can't dance to is terrible? I'm actually struggling to get into the new album - technically it's hard to fault, so maybe I've just not been in the mood for it. I would like to see them do some of the stuff live, though. Seeing them live around the time of Sound of Silver turned that album in my mind from one I quite enjoyed to a proper classic.
Not at all. I just don't like LCD Soundsystem.
