    rutabowa YUPPIES OUT

CREEPIN IN MEMPHIS cassette release... a mix of 90s memphis rap that only came out on tape locally, it is so raw and nasty.... alot of songs about murdering.

Musically a lot of dj screw influence but more dark synths

I am self indulgently using this thread to bring to your attention a record that I played guitar on, because I just spotted it is up on Spotify now. if you are in the mood for brutal ultra minimal experimental garage punk it is def worth a listen, it is a nice live to tape recording:

Take it you heard this then?

Album out on the 10th August, from the three tracks she's put out so far it's going to be lush. Potential album of the year for me.

Production from Mica Levi as well.
Kaka Tim and Dr. Furface like this.

Gulp, which is Guto Pryce and his Super Furry wife, have their second album out. Very listenable, if little like SFA.

    butchersapron blood on the walls

New Moderate Rebels and Sexual Objects coming out soon. The first two from the former make me think that the lyrical sneeriness hidden behind a lot of the good music from the first album is going to be to the forefront. Instead of the lovely repetition.

Don't play it in front of small children, is a recommendation I would make... had to have an urgent talk with our kid about why certain words are extremely bad to ever say or write, I'm being a bit more careful now.

mm, it seems pretty much SFA lite, but that's never to be sniffed at

...any better than the other one doing Our House (take that call off the new album) and thinking it's Lee Hazlewood. See also, We Love EU.

Unbeknownst to me, The Black Dog have managed to release two new albums this year. My surprisingly good local HMV had one of them so I'm currently chilling rather happily to this. The title track opener:
