Epitomises such an important time in western theatre and film. A revolution, really. Finney’s passing provokes reflection to the current state of the business wrt class and representation... we should hang our heads in shame.

Yeah, that’s my point. I wouldn’t say there’s none. But the kitchen sink/angry young man revolution didn’t build momentum.

There are real and serious reasons why WC kids don’t go on to become actors, writers, directors btw. But we should be ashamed as a society for those reasons still existing.
