Anyone attempting to watch Group A: Namibia v Morocco, Accra
1445 GMT, on BBCi? Has the bbc cocked up? Can get tennis but there's no football option like yesterday.

EDIT: Panic over! It's on eurosport. :D
It did that to me yesterday.

I activated BBC interactive and it took me to tennis (which I detest) without giving me the option of the football.

It was working later, though, so I managed to largely avoid Eurosport.

Yep....dull as hell.

They really need to cut the grass though the ball was being held up to a stupid degree.

Agricola, is Drogba also in the Cote d'Ivoire line up? Drogba is Ivorian isn't he ... :o

he was named on the teamsheet yes, though he did fuck all

Nice match between Egypt and Cameroon....Cameroon don't have much to offer bar Eto'o and you could tell he was about 70% fitness but Egypt looked very tidy, nice passing, movement. And some bloke called "Zidan" :D

Ghana - Nigeria was a great game. and Ivory Coast looked outstanding against Guinea.

They didn't show any replays of the Nigerian player being hit by the golf buggy - any clips on You-Tube?

Did anyone else watch the game that just finished? Cameroon v tunisia..

I've never seen a clearer case of a corrupt ref. Blatant.. Clear penalty calls denied in extra time, not to mention playing NO injury time despite the cameroonians lolling round on the floor for ages in the extra time period..

Corrupt, pointless tournament if they allow that cunt to carry on, pass go and collect his winnings.

Saw some highlights tonight. Junior Agogo must be National Hero of Ghana at the moment. Someone commented in the paper at the w/e -- before this Nigeria match -- that Michael Essien was the best tournament player by miles, from what little I could see would go along with that.

I agree about Ivory Coast too. So many good goals!

Missed the last 15 mins of normal; time, I presume you mean that then and extra time was where you think the ref was most blatantly dodgy.

Although I did see an iffy lack-of-penalty earlier.

I take it Cameroon hung onto their lead then?

That Tunisia goal earlier on was a wonder-strike!!!

From what limited amount I've seen of this tournament overall, I've seen better defending in the Conference and worse attacking in the Premiership.

Call me shallow, but lots of goals are never dull!! :p

Yup, extra time. I've never seen such a blatantly corrupt ref (and i actually had dosh on cameroon to win, so kinda neutral here - i won money ;)).... he blew the whistle EXACTLY on the dot. In my estimation there shoulda been at least 2, maybe 3 mins stoppage time. Also two clear penalty claims denied.

Is it just me or does the constant, low level 'music' caucophany instead of crowd noise rob the whole game of atmosphere?

There was no crowd there tonight, but generally yeh i agree. altho watch an italian seria A game and its the same. i think the athletic track affects it? i credit the lack of these in the UK (and i guess the TV production) with the success of the premiership. it just sounds so alive in comparison.

the Ghana game the other day was packed but apparently almost silent except for demented trumpeters playing exactly the same meaningless stuff whatever was happening on the pitch. I begin to wonder if it's a backing tape.

Do you accuse Premiership refs of being corrupt when they make bad decisions too?

Nah. He reffed well, if a bit leniently, and Eto'o should have gone for the headbutt. I agree that there were a couple of minutes missing at the end, but everyone was dead on their feet, including the ref. Great match, cracking Tunisian equaliser.

Corruption's a pretty big accusation. Why do you think corruption?
