AFN vs Unite the Right and NF in Dover 12/09/15

There is a surprise. If you don't understand then just throw abuse at the other person. I have lost count the number of times myself and comrades have tried to discuss with the ninja crews(of course in their civvies) upcoming actions and assessments of actions taken. Each and every time they are unwilling or just cannot comprehend the basic fact they have no idea or understanding of how to connect with working class anti fascists.

It's a necessity. It reduces the number of people that get lifted.....especially on later dates. There are plenty of anarkids that take that aesthetic for a fashion and it's pretty embarrassing. But they are in the minority.

Anti-fash needs more numbers. More working class people. If you actually gave a toss Flying Pig you'd make sure you attend actions and bring a mate or 2 along. But that may mean getting off your high horse perched on yer ivory tower

ho ho here we go that old chestnut. If you can't win the argument use the piggie insult. Search flying pig on google, first one with the answer gets a prize.

Win what argument? You appear to think masked Antifascists and working class ones are mutually exclusive and then spin out some stereotype to bolster your credentials. Do you wear a shell suit as well?

Firstly I do give a toss and secondly there is no way I am travelling all the way to Dover, dressing in pantomime gear and running around like a headless chicken and then trapped in a coup for fascists to launch bricks & bottles at me. I have attended many actions but will not be joining the ninjas or their charge of the light brigade antics it is unproductive and futile. Until they change tactics - which I said I have previously tried unsuccessfully to get discuss then our team will go about our business in our own way.

Ah! that is another little problem for the ninjas. We wear what working class lads wear. Stone Island, Lyle & Scott, C.P. and Adidas trainers just to mention a few. As I say we have been prepared to work with the ninjas but they just don't get your average working class person.

Neither do you if you think they have some kind of river island uniform.

"Our team" Care to elaborate?

You seem to think the working class as a homogeneous group. The majority of the people at Dover (masked up) on the action were as far as i can see were working class.

Adidas Samba. Stone Island chinos. Fred Perry T-shirt.

I've just had 1990 on the phone. It wants its clothes back.

1992 surely?

so working class people cant be skinheads anymore then?

Of course they can but if you followed the scene as I am sure you do Skinheads are a bit thin on the ground these days, the casual is still in.
Take a trip to the footie( Clapton excluded of course) and you will see what the working class lad wears.

please explain the whitechapel debacle reference. and ninja turtles? who the fuck calls antifascists that? the fash?
If you were at Whitechapel and took part or observed the charge of the ninja brigade down Cable Street and into yet another chicken coup you will know exactly what I am on about. Unfortunately they took some gullible first timers with them who also spent the night in cells, miles from home and who ended up terrified by the whole experience and have not attended another demo since. Ninja Turtles? That is what a working class person describes them as. Again my point is consolidated, you don't seem to understand that whether fascist or anti fascist in working class areas we dress the same, use similar words and have to walk the same streets etc

I'm not wrong though.

You're not who you're pretending to be.
It is not a game. This is for real. Unless of course you live in cosy cosmopolitan London or suburbs where the only time you come across fascists is a 70 mile coach trip to Dover. Then don't see them again until your next demo. Unfortunately some of us live amongst the fascist scum and have to deal with it on a daily basis. We don't have a choice.

Fuck me. It's "let's do the time warp again" time! Surprised you didn't mention Tacchini and Bennetton, too. They were popular 25 years ago too!
In my day it was simple. You wore jeans, a heavy jacket over whatever top you had on, and a pair of docs. That way, you could give as good as you got, with the added bonus that people didn't think you were a ponce for wearing sportswear! :p

Some of the stuff you write looks like a badly drawn caricature.

The thing with skins is that A1s are pretty eternal, as are docs, so that picture could be from any time from 1980-onward (although as the main kicker appears to be wearing a black Harrington, it's probably early '80s at latest).
If u know your anti fascist stuff - that is Waterloo 1992
