Admit it You were Wrong oh so Wrong

2 Glastonbury ones for me spring to mind:

Deciding to watch The Shamen instead of Pulp (94 I think?).

.

It was '95 and I did that too - watched Pulp for about 15 mins but knew they were going to play at the Free Heineken Festival in Leeds the following month so didn't stick around to see it all. Shamen were a bit crap as I remember with loads of huge spiky inflatable stars all over the stage!

I remember watching an article on TVAM in the late 80s (used to wake me up before I went to work is my only defence - and that Ann Diamond was still pretty foxy back then...) about Kylie Minogue releasing a single in Australia called "I should Be So Lucky". Whenever they showed a clip I thought, "The British Public aren't daft enough to buy that crap!"

I caught a GA Sunday thing on E4 a couple of weeks ago...they haven't been well served by their videos have they? I mean I know that decent pop vids from pop bands are pretty rare, but considering how successful (and fit) they are, I thought they could have better promos...

i think they must get about a tenner budget for each video.

walking off bored from the foo fighters at leeds festival just before they played everlong.

That was an excellent decision - they are one of the most boring bands I've ever had the misfortune to see - never saw what the fuss was all about and time hasn't changed my mind in the least. :D
