Stick to the pavements and just scythe down oncoming peds like a Boudica on killer rave drugs. That's what I do - although I think the police were going to have a word on saturday night

Bikes may be fun but you don't really need 'em.

Get an N35 (or 35 or 45 or 345 if you're early enough -- they all go to Camberwell Green). They go from the busstoip at the start of Gresham Road, opposite the side of the Police station -- ie about 6 minutes walk from the Canterbury ... round the front of the Station though, so take it easy on the uproarious party-noise for that bit!

You can check your bus times on the TfL website, or at the stop earlier on, they're not that infrequent.
