long shot - is there a friendly local vet in brixton who might spare a few minutes to advice you on this over the phone? maybe giving you info of international charities if they exist?

thb cats protection in uk are more likely to be aware of the rescue situation there than a vet

more often about parents with severely disabled children who know the system won't work for their kids when they are gone.

A would imagine many of the offspring would be glad for a bit of unfussy unclingy care.
