Are you on drugs? The site was a quagmire for the rest of the weekend! By about sunday afternoon there were the occasional drier spots to sit down on but by and large it was hard going.

Especially if you had camped at the bottom of Pennards.

Was it heck, it was perfectly tolerable by the Saturday afternoon. It was only really Friday that it was like the Somme. I was also lucky enough to sleep through the hole storm :)

Soft southern shites :p

I have no idea what hte pyramid stage was like as I never bothered with it but I found it better going than in 97 where it seemed to be FREEZING as well as wet.

never mind the pyramid stage, huge areas of the campsite were still underwater at the end of the weekend. didn't affect me or mine at all but did fuck up the wekeends of a lot of friends

Last time I went was 93 I think, beautiful weather, if it's not like that, I'm jumping in the car home :D

yeh, that car is IDEAL for grim weather conditions, especially after you've looked after it so lovingly :)

I should say so...I took him to Kitten's retox party on saturday (mostly attended by the hippy types from the other BB where I get told how to behave)

By the end of the morning he'd got them feeling all wrong with tales about having his grill pimped out, referring to me as his be-atch and debating whether Maddie McCann ever really existed or if it was a front dreamed up by her parents for making a big pile of green. But they liked it :D

I felt sorry for those buggers. I remember seeing a tenner floating in the water along side passports and kid's frisbees. My mate and I adopted a couple from Ireland and bought them a few coffees and some breakfast because - well everything thet had brought to this country was now in a muddly lake of piss and shit. It was their honey moon :(

I hope theres not the same level of drug searches that they have now imposed at the Isle of Wight festival this year. Loads of sniffer dogs and old bill at all entrance gates. People getting pulled in and searched left, right and centre. Folk never stood a chance. :(

I think it will be more like this
