It's not making the news, certainly. Well, other than fears of terrorism, unfinished venues, the uninhabitable athletes' village, and the NZ athlete who's returned home after being robbed by the police on three seperate occassions
I'm not going out of my way to watch as much as possible this time around. Firstly, it's on in the early hours to keep the American sponsors happy, and secondly I've not taken the two weeks off from work like I did last time.
I'll be sure to catch all of the gymnastics, diving, triathlon and indoor cycling, but other than that I'm not arsed. Doubt I'll even stay up for the opening ceremony.
I am planning to watch as much as I can, especially the athletics, which may mean a few early mornings depending on what I want to see and when it's on.
I will probably watch the opening ceremony as I am a bit of a sucker for such things
