I still think Arsenal play the nicest football, though Man U are in impressive form. I have a grudging respect for them this year, which is surprising considering the sheer hatred I had for them growing up.

Arsenal flatter to decieve, on first watch it all looks very nice, until you see them do the same thing over and over again to no success. Man Utd on the otherhand can mix it up, they can work tight through balls,and play triangles when teams are entrenched on their own box, they can break fast, and have awesome wing play.

When Arsenal went on that record breaking run a few years back, they played some of the best football ever seen in this country. But it was a bit too efficient.

There's a certain swashbucking quality that Man Utd bring to football ..both this season and when they did the treble. I've never seen any other teams in this country play this way. Maybe Newcastle under Keegan ...but that's about all.

Football is about entertainment as much as anything else isn't it?

after that 7-1 thrashing of AS Roma could he been in any doubt that Man United are the best team for him. I don't think anyother team in Europes plays in a style so suited to him.

What we desperately need more than anything else is for one or more teams to break the stranglehold that those teams have on the Champions League places. Apart from Everton last season, am I right to think that the last team outside those four to play in the Champions League was Newcastle and that was now getting on for ten years ago?

I'm pretty certain that I watched Newcastle in the Champions League in 2002-2003. So about 5 years ago. Oh happy days, not soon to be repeated.

What Martin needs to do is go right back to his roots , although he can wait a few seasons to do that since I actually quite like our current manager , even with the drop in form which will most likely see us drop out of the play off places this weekend
