I am smashing a 3.

Had a superb morning w/ a tremendously interesting discussion with a copper, then my boss fell horrendously unwell and went home, the whole corridor is deserted (4 out of 30 people in?) and I'm back working at my desk. The situation is such that, at a pinch, I might kill an ork or two over lunchtime. If I can get steam working offline.

Varies a bit for me from nowt to a fullfat 9. but that depends on what's the target for the day.

atm busy getting ready to do some carriage painting, something I like, so pushing towards 6, maybe even a 7. Has a guy helping today, who normally talks for England, Scotland and Wales, but he really got stuck into the work and made loads of progress.
Although the *****ing twunt whose work I'm having to redo gets -5 as a normal rating ... he was skiving again this morning.

A strong 8 today. I have myself on a tight grading schedule, which means that as long as I keep grading papers while my next classes are writing their papers this afternoon, I should go home with about 24 papers, rather than 70. I took in about 24 papers this morning, and as long as I have about 12 graded before my next class, I should be able to stay in step with the papers I'll take in at the end of the the next two classes.

A very solid 10 today...went to work for a few hours so nobody else had to and then shovelled and barrowed 38 loads of wood chip into the garden...Just having a little sit down but think I have at least 5 more loads in me before I fall into a hot bath...

That's really impressive, I think we now have the benchmark by which all other ethos (ethosii??) are measured.

Must be mad ... but I'll give myself about an 8 for the last day or three.
Went into the workshop today, to do some basic painting.
I got quite a lot done; no noise, no dust and relatively few interruptions.
Tomorrow, more of the same, but that will be primer and initial undercoats applied to one end and all of one side (excluding the doors).
Next week will be preparing the other end and side in the same way, so next weekend I should be able to go all the way around with the intermediate undercoat ...
I would like to get some gloss on after that, but I think that will have to wait until some other work is completed - I don't want the risk of people knocking the surface about whilst working but mainly the dust level will need to be right down for gloss coats.

not bad today - planning a photo/walk over to the studio, grab some bits and bring them back, play with clay, tweak photos, catch up on the blog and twitter (which i only use for "work" purposes), i'll call that a 6.5

Its actually been really good the last few days - although I am seriously regretting having started my long weekend by doing a few jobs about the garage.

Once I got in there, the amount of work I found needing doing spiralled considerably from the bit of paint and pointing I thought was needed. Looks like I maight finish tomorrow if I'm lucky and I've been going like the clappers from @8am till dusk since Thursday.

Going back to work on Tuesday will be a rest!

Urrrgh, I'm back at work, one of the scripts I left running when I went away doesn't seem to have worked so I need to do quite a lot of work now to get it back on track.

Still only putting in a 3/10 though.

One of my bosses, for reasons unknown, is refusing to release a page on students' summer assessments. Due in four weeks.

And I'm consequently fielding a fair few complaints from understandably peeved students, whilst I have no idea what's going on / why the page isn't up yet. (It's written. They're just not allowed to see it).

Which is chiselling me down to a 3.4.
