I've lived in my flat now for 3 1/2 years.

It needs a new lick of paint.

When I first moved in they gave me vouchers to buy paint and stuff for B&Q.

I've just asked whether I'm entitled to some sort of vouchers / financial assistance to buying paint again.

They said no.

So I have to find £200 to paint my flat that I rent off somebody else? Is this right?

You are taking the piss aren't you ?

Count yourself lucky that you pay a cheap rent. I don't and I just repainted my whole flat for £40 including brushes and rollers. I've never felt the need to repaint after 3 1/2, so not sure why you feel the tax payer should pick up the bill everytime you feel like a home make over.
