My old boss used to do it. I'd print out all his emails and stick them in his in-tray.
He'd stick them in his out-tray for me with the response that I was to type. You'd think the time it took him to write the response and for me to type it, it would have been quicker to just reply on his computer.![]()
Heh - I had that when I worked as a PA in the civil service too

I've worked as a senior PA for nearly 10 years and that was a one off though. My last couple of bosses have been incredibly computer literate and manage their own email. I tend to deal with the more organisational stuff. My typing speed has gone to shit in the last 5 years!!
