A Question About Annual Leave

well, it sounds like that if you're not ill now, you could well be by the end of the project.

Has anyone who has leave booked had it cancelled? Will they be below the minimum number of people they need to get the project completed? Have you had ANY holiday yet this year?

A couple of people had the odd day cancelled. I'm not actually working on the project but our team is two men down because of it, so we're a bit overstretched, but that's all. I've only had four days leave this year and I get 30 days holiday, so February, March and April are always staffed by a skeleton crew cos no-one's got round to taking holiday - my boss is always awkward about taking leave, so it's a pain in the arse being told you can't take leave in the summer then being made to take it at an inconvenient time.

I remember once phoning in sick in another job after a weekend of over indulgence. I didn't have to lie about that. I just said that I'd been up all night, felt nauseous, was sweating like a pig, and been making frequent visits to the toilet
