If you have a good tattooist they can do it anywhere. If you have a bad design no tattooist can make it work. How fiddly do you want it?

Well not hugely fiddly, but I'd want distinguishable lines. My friend had some writing done on her ankle and after a while it just became a blur. The place where she got it done is fairly reputable; I got one done there and it's fine.

What really affects whether a tattoo fades or blurs is movement (like if it's on a joint) and the size of the needle (smaller needles/thinner lines fade faster). Possibly the quality of the ink too. Do you need it smack bang on the joint or could you have it a little higher?

I swear by Extreme Needle.there's one on charing x road and one on d'arblay street,just off berwick st.they are fairly new up and running,but have lots of experience.the tattooists are some of the best in london.im always hanging out at the studio helping out and i've never seen a customer pissed off about anything or the tattooist ever do a bad tattoo..amazing custom work and cheaper than anywhere in fucking camden..
