A gaggle of ungrateful pedestrian pricks

oh well, in that case just leave them to it. No point saying anything. Might go and do a few cartwheels on the duel carriageway after Question Time.

if ya like. but i find defensive, rather than offensive works best. i find it plays havoc with my day if i let people piss me off too much ;)

So what sort of road was it ? What ttime was it, what were the other circumstances ?
What speed were you doing ?

If there are pedestrians - or parked cars where they could be lurking I moderate my speed. Several girls after dark would ring warning bells.
Half the world is permanently glued to a mobile phone these days ...

Age is a factor - not sure about ethnicity .... except that they might have been less likely to have been drinking.

Who mentioned any difference, I didnt, if it was a few lads in trackies and hats I would have described them too.

I don't see how describing their ethnicity adds to your point yet you chose to include it (which I found slightly odd), hence my question.

If I said ''Oh Ive just seen some punks playing football'' does that mean i am anti-punk

BASTARD!;)

i have run them over and laughed.

To be fair, that's in the imaginary world where you (a) can drive, and (b) has a turbo-charged steamroller which you spend all day driving into crowds at 60mph, cackling as the congestion charge zone cameras attempt to read your numberplates through the smeared infant blood.

Or is that an escapee from the "£25 congestion charge? I has a landrover, why me?" thread??? :D

Some good questions.

well... no. If these are girls, I mean like young-ish females, then a shout at them to watch where they're going is fully justified in that it might make at least one of them be a bit more careful next time. The number of times when I was on bus duty at the end of a teaching day and I saw kids legging it into the road without looking where they were going was horrifying.

Yeah I guess you guys are right, having only his side of the story let's just agree with him and not question a word he says!!

I'm a reasonable, fair dealing sort of bloke and assume others are the same unless I learn different. Tit for Tat and all that. On here, one has to ensure no possible hint of xism / yism / zism could ever possibly be construed - or be assumed to be an x,y,zist.

How about being a little less.....................prejudiced?

In less diverse areas, upper Swansea valley for example to not mention race in such an incident would be a deliberate act of political correctness, given the strangeness of it.

My mum for example was so exited to have a black friend of mine at the house she brought out the dolton and fancy bicuits, she thought it so exotic, bless her.

I think we're mostly taking the p*ss mate ;)

Speaking as a road safety nut, it's the idea that one can always drive at the speed limit and assume that pedestrians will behave themselves that's the problem.

Personally I look at every pedestrian and subconsciously calculate if they could suddenly flip and charge into the road ;)

Personally I find it very unfuckingbelieveable that a red-blooded male driver wouldn't spot four young lasses from miles off and be completely aware of their movements at all times.
