The fuji is actually a much nicer looking bike imho. The SE Lager remains the best value off the peg fixer I think but Spesh probably sell 40 Langsters to every SE.
Nothing wrong with Raleigh - they made some fine bikes - and look like they're starting to do so again (just not in Nottingham). What I meant was they're not to be considered exotica in much the same way that Trek and Specialized aren't, so don't believe the hype.

if by alot you mean all and by east italy taiwan then yes, that's exactly the case.
i'm not all that keen on the modern stuff, i've got an early 90s columbus frameset, i think it's the champion? with the partially fluted tubes, it's loooovely. the only one i want more is the ti version which is just utterly
