*has tantrum*
It's the clinical, no-nonsense thing to do![]()
Suck on that ya smelly bitches![]()
The colleague just went out herself. I gave no indication there was ever lunch mentioned. If she says anything I will say I forgot and give a blank look. If she pushes me I'll say straight out I don't want to be having lunch with her. I will scan for witnesses before I reveal this truth.
I'm not going. The person is annoying, sloppily dressed....
The invitation the day ahead is what makes me feel depressed and suspicious.

I am tempted to reply 'Who else is going' and when she says just us, say 'Sorry, no can't make it'.

Fair do's then....LOL.

If you'd said 'anxious', I would understand, tbf.
Maybe one persons 'anxious' is anothers 'depressed and suspicious' though.![]()
Please give us a list of other banal things you are not going to do.

Anxious is a wee bit different? Anxious is constant flight/fight. Depression don't necessarily = anxious. But anxious might have depression in there too. Depression hampering of fight/flight.

I'm not going. The person is annoying, sloppily dressed, and not someone I want to get involved with other than on a professional level. .
