dear miss spangle - I need something lovely to wear for a night out (meal with bees and maybe aqua daddy) at xmas. can you help cos I'm stuck :(


also, can you change the font on the blog to a sans serif font? its tough to read
 
i'll have a look at the font options, and now ofsted is over, i'll be able to do a bit of looking and blogging for you.
 
I think it's so great I'm going to send the link to my friend who isn't an urb but is a clothie (is that a word? fashionista sounds a bit grand)
 
Spangles - would it be possible to do some sort of review on sizings of clothes at different stores?

For example I've found that Dorothy Perkins come up very small whereas Wallis are more generous....

I love that bra btw! If I had any idea of what size I was I'd buy it. :D
 
Post more pictures that you have taken yourself, either of yourself or of your clothes. Blogs are a bit boring when they use to many pictures off other sites. No let me rephrase that. Blogs are way more interesting to read when the content is mostly created by the user.

this is true, and something I'm aware of - but my camera is broken and I'm awaiting someone generous to let me have their old one.

aqua - font is fixed.
 
I have a PROPER kilt which looks fine on me thank you very much :p
Next time I wear it I will take a photo and send you a link to it or summat :D

I wish I'd checked it before I went to dundee today coz I was looking for tights and never thought about M&S :rolleyes: @ self
Their prices look more like what I'm prepared to spend :)

although the sleeveless one, that's the only one i'm a bit :hmm: about - I don't have the best arms in the world! but I shall try it on :cool:

miss spangles, having read your expert recommendations for aqua, can i ask a favour as well? Mr K is taking me out to dinner for my birthday in a couple of weeks, our first real night out since the baby was born, and I would love a glamorous new dress to wow him with. However, clothes shopping is impossible with a pram in tow, so have you spotted anything that you think would suit me? :)

Although we'll have to agree to disagree on the issue of coloured tights with flats - I'm rocking that look on a regular basis. :p

I really really like that Dotty P top, but can't find a good reason to have it :(

Did just splurge a good £75 online for a big suitcase by ripcurl and a laptop rucksack though :cool:

Miss Spangles, I am shortly moving abroad and need some decent smart clothes for my new job. I don't have a lot to spend so some advice on key items would be lovely. I want so make a really good first impression and not look like the scruff-monster I really am! :o

I'm a 14 on top but my boobies are pretty huge, and a 14/16 on the bottom. I'm far comfier in trousers than skirts, but will consider anything :)

Because you're moving to a new place and need new clothes for the occasion.

Because you will be invited to lots of fabulous parties and need suitable outfits.

Because you work hard and deserve to treat yourself.

Because you want it.

I can always think of a reason to buy something. :)

Dear Miss Spangles,

Looking for a party top - similar dimensions to your good self up top but with upper arms like hams - love black, hate shopping.
Any ideas?

am loving all these shopping missions... will do May first - but broken laptop is somewhat restricting my net access... have rather rashly said to myself that i can't buy another until I sell enough old crap on ebay to pay for it.:eek:

anyway, may's is nearly in the bag...
 
Oooh! Spangles could you help my friend out please when you get a moment? She's got a 60's themed work do to go to and has bought a gorgeous prom style dress from Dotty P's. It's black with a silver detail and netting but she has no idea what sort of shoes to wear bearing in mind the 60's theme? Perhaps some sort of lowish heeled pump? With what tights? She can't wear heels for various reasons. :)

this is easy if heels are out: (silver or black - pref silver) ballet pumps with opaque tights.

alternatively a pointy toed kitten heel with seamed sheer tights/stockings, if she can tolerate a small heel, cos she'll feel a zillion times sexier.

i'll have a look...

In that case you are better at this than I knew. Cos I clickd on your site, looked at the picture, started drooling and starting panicking about how shit my life would be without the coat, and THEN read your text. CRazy good!

Is red though. I wear black...
 
Following reading your blog and browsing the sites linked to, I just bought a load of underwear. :cool: but am no really sure what brought that on. :rolleyes:
