A Biro in one hand and a molotov in the other - Ian Bone

at one stage it seemed like whenever I made friends with anyone who was even vaguely political they'd come across the guy.
I don't think I've met you, but I'm not even vaguely political and I've come across him.

from tht write up, it doesnt look interesting, it looks like a load of shit.

Egotism & anarchy, what a lovely combo.

Everybody has an ego y'know, as you just displayed - though not all organise and practice forward thinking progressive events like Ian...

that intro reads like a load of shit, if you can't recognise tht, that's your problem. Hero worship is a load if wank whether its some dead Russian with a beard, or some stroppy anarch with a brick, and the right brio.

Celebrity culture, lefty style.

Not much to add to Belboids comments in #37 - hero worship is bollocks in any political context where egalitarianism is an eventual aim.

What do you get if you mix:

1. "I'm working-class, got that? I said I'm working-class."

2. "Lefties are all middle-class students."

3. "I'm extremely important and influential and very fond of my own voice. Everybody should listen to me all day."

That intro was better than what you write...

That "the most dangerous man in Britain" is at liberty to write books rather than serving a life sentence for sedition or being hung for treason will be the first question on every MP's lips as this smouldering anarchist bomb hits the bookshelves.
Yet more evidence - if more were needed - that we truly live in ... er ... a police state where freedom of expression is ... er ... a capital offence and where Tony Blair's jackbooted facist police ... er ... can anyone remember where I was going with this ... :D

pah! You obviously missed the group who used that very phrase for their orgs name on recent demo's - with nice pics of Messrs Marx, Lenin Stalin & Mao underneath. And you obviously missed the fact that the pic of me on another site makes me clearly the spit of Gramsci.

Attica , were you on Tv around 1990 filmed in a very large posh house, blond with a fringe rather like old Boris, indeed looking like a young Boris, talking about class war and the poll tax, if it was you, then i know why i can't take you very seriously...

So. Has anyone actually read this book? Or are we going to skip that bit and go straight to slagging it off anyway?

Its not published until saturday - i guess there maybe some publicity in the papers to accompany it (feature article as well as reviews maybe) as its the same day as the bookfair...

So what did he actually achieve (apart from his book deal)?

All the apparatus of state were functioning at full throttle last time I looked.
