Yep. It's a pub, with a pretty big function room (150 will be cosy tho). Was a jamaican pub till a few years ago but changed to a hipster type place but not in a really irritating way, they kept a fair few of the old customers, unlike most of those kind of relaunches. It's pretty good, i've only seen bands there though. The pics here give a pretty good idea of the room The Victoria - JAGUARSHOES COLLECTIVE

The stunning 50’s bar island takes centre stage in the venue, illuminated, and boasting the kind of drinks offer you’d expect to find; JaguarShoes classic cocktails, locally brewed craft beers and a selection of new and old world wines.

The VICTORIA has a long standing heritage as a music venue, we plan to maintain that under JaguarShoes, but it’s also a great pub and it feels like for a long time that’s been overlooked.

The focus at the Victoria is premium Rum which seemed the obvious choice given the Caribbean influence on the area in recent decades and the fact that rum is not quite so serious a companion as it’s peers… Rum, can just be fun!

Gentrifying Barffffffffffffffffffffff!

the place was pretty dead before they re did it though, and i reckon the old locals who still go in probably rather it stayed open in this new form rather than completely close. Would be different if they had been (effectively) excluded from it, like most of these kind of redevelopments, but i think they did this one relatively ok.

I could be wrong tho, I only been about 4 times since it had the new owners.
