Nope! An MPhil and (hopefully) PhD in Criminology, focussing on trying to better address domestic violence, drug abuse and mental health problems... For those that want those issues addressed, natch. But looking at developing services / models of care that aren't - for example - almost exclusively mixed-gender rehabs with fuckall child care for women seeking drug treatment.

I've just sent my boss an e-mail outlining my plans to leave at the back end of August

I wouldn't've done so ideally, but my parent company / organisation seems to be at risk of financial haemorrhage so knowing that we're going to have 10k less of wages this year may go some way to ensuring the continuation of a service after I depart!
