While not quite as bad as this pic, Dinny's brother Dougal had managed to escape from his pen while we were at the vets. We came home to a sitting room with everything that was on the couch and table on the floor and puppy pee in the hall.
no joke , i lost my dog this time last year , not only did i have the grief to deal with i was also lumbered with a huge vets bill. So im just glad dinny is ok and was just offering some help

Sorry to hear about the puppy - but glad it seems to be making a recovery.
I lost a great dane last year from a mysterious death. Probably the usual "bloating" problems the bread has but she was a bugger for binning. As soon as she'd be let off the lead in the local park she'd head straight for the bins, and being so tall had no trouble getting at all the half eaten take-aways.
She had puppies so imagine the grief with 5 of the fuckers in the first 11 weeks before going off to new homes.
Training is vital in the early stages and if you live in the proximity of a chicken take-away (and they seem to be everywhere nowdays) you're gunna have a job on your hands.
Good luck.
