50/50 odds on my dog making it

I have a vision of two foxes in a fried chicken joint, while a third sits in the car shouting out;

"Ask em if they do kebabs, Jason"

We have an absolute nightmare when we take our dog anywhere on any street in tottenham coz there is fried chicken bones EVERYWHERE! Not only that but I've seen a rat every day this week (our dog wants to eat those too!)

Want to go on a smack the chicken bone dropper vigilant mission?

We could use pillowcases filled with brass doorknobs!;) :cool:

just read the thread , really hope dinnys gonna be ok :)

We're at the no news stage.
I really really want to thank everyone, as we go invented to the offline pre new years myself and iguana had been over here a year and hadn't really clicked with one and everyone on urban has been so postive and friendly we've been so taken aback.

Dinny is no where near out of the woods, he needs xray's a tomorrow and is in no shape to handle them, so I'm going in early to help him in.

I don't want to get soppy or gay but having this community to vent to, and knowing you are all routing for him has made a serious difference to us and ensures a pint for anyone who posted on this thread next offline.

We're desperately scared of being too optamistic, he's still in very bad shape and he was so freaked out yesterday that they couldn't do an x-ray

Not really the last time I went out onto 'Da Street' it was being cordoned off because of a shooting.

To the OP - we live by the marsh, so we walk our dog there - it's chicken bone free, the local 'yoot' don't come out here, it's too countrified for them, they'd get their 'garms' muddy. :p There are quite a few enthusiastic doggers though!

Iguana is my partner Pinkmonkey.

The marsh is fantastic isn't it, our sunday walk is out to the marsh and down the canal to Springfield park and cafe there.

Not seen any doggers though, thankfully.

He's coming home! :D :D :D

The vet sez he needs a check up in a week but he's doing fantastic!

brilliant! I've been reading this thread with fear for dinny - I'm so happy that he's coming home and is on the mend :)

I just want to thank everyone who posted, having this thread really made the whole thing vaguely copable. Between this and new years urban's really brightened up the move to london for me.

Oh, I am so relieved!

That is wonderful, wonderful news - I can't begin to imagine how thrilled you must be!

When he gets home, make sure you have a stern word with him about eating stuff off the street! :D

Yes dinny, now don't eat the delicious stuff thats just at your feet.

That'll take...

No we're starting a new training session come sunday, the word those boys are going to hear is

In the kind of voice this fella uses;

Blimey. Dinny is at home, chewing on a rawhide treat infront of a roaring fire.

He was so thrilled to see us he lept up from behind the vet and literally ran circles in Iguana's lap for five minutes, as I took the wallop of the bill.

He looks like he's a puppy Mahatma Gandhi, he's not eated for three days, and we can see his ribs, He's not allowed walks for a fornight, and needs to be beefed up, we're doing leftover turkey and rice for dinner.

Massive thanks for all the postive support from urbanites you really helped get us through a seriously tough few days.
