50/50 odds on my dog making it

Theres still so much stuff, but just hearing he's excited seeing peopile. Is excited

Sounds a positive resilient little chap himself - was a nasty accident but hopefully he'll recover and get over it double quick

We've been given vaguely positive good news, his condition has stabilised, he's excited seeing new people.

I'M Desperately trying not to get too excitied.

Fingers crossed. :)

He made it

Through the night.

He still may have a collasped lung, or a foreign object in one, and they still don't know what's in his stomach or what caused this, but he's stable right now.

He's in a fucking oxygen cage and has been all night.

Fuck me, if I get sick sod the NHS I'm off to my vet. :p :p

Bad jokes help.

Hurray! Not out of the woods but stabilising him was the first major task I guess. Your vet's absolutely sound

Keeping em crossed.

Oh thats good news :)

How come they don't know what is in his stomach? Can he not have an xray?

But anyway, he sounds much better - you must be so relieved!

*keeps fingers crossed for the puppy*

Yeah they look at it and go "oohh that looks nasty whats that?"

Theres concern it won't break down and perferate his intestine.

2nd update from vet, they're using words like "very lucky". They're sending him to be re X-rayed this morning to see if a lung has collasped or if there is a foreign body in it. But we're no where near out the woods

Thanks to all urbanites for their support. Keep you updated if you like.

I'm really glad to hear that. :) And yes, of course you must keep us updated - we are very interested in the good health of all puppies, kittens and pets generally :D

Just to let you know who you are routing for

This photo was taken when they were ten weeks old, they're just six months old now. Dinny's the guy in the foreground, panting.

I took this the day we got the little fellas.

Ooooh, they are beautiful!

Please keep us updated! I only logged on this morning to see if the pup was alright! :o

They're absolutely gorgeous, I really hope he comes through. I have a 12 year old springer, I absolutely adore him!

What lovely dogs. :)

Any news of Dinny?
Vet just phoned, he's off the oxygen. And been re X-rayed' he was pretty upset when he was moved to x-ray they're not sure if thats because he was freaked out, or if he's in pain.

The fluid in the lungs, might well have been vomit, he must have retched when trying to swallow the bone, (which is breaking up in his stomach)

The fluid still hasn't drained completely the bone could perferate his intestines, and they're still not 100% sure whats wrong, but the vet has taken him off Intensive care.

Sounds like some good news at least. :)

Fingers crossed for the weekend, take care and take it easy. :)

w00t!!

Is he allowed visitors yet - will you see him over the weekend to keep him company a bit?

Not like that it was a bone from a takeaway box.

What kind of cunt eats half a fried chicken in a fucking graveyard.

We have an absolute nightmare when we take our dog anywhere on any street in tottenham coz there is fried chicken bones EVERYWHERE! Not only that but I've seen a rat every day this week (our dog wants to eat those too!)

Don't fucking start, the amount of times I've wondered why they've stopped pulling at the lead only to find one of them with a fucking chicken bone in their mouth.

The sheer fucking amount of "perfect fried chicken" joints and the abundance of fucktards who treat the streets like an open sewar

Where do you walk your dog pinkmonkey?
